Where to start? I guess for my record keeping I should tell you about the fantastic year 2010 has been for Justin and I. I love lists so I will list some of the greatness of 2010 so far...
- January 9,2010 - The Tully wedding - I was so honored to be a part of Jennifer's wedding. We have been friends since elementary school and I loved starting 2010 off with this wedding.
- February 14, 2010 - Justin and I decided to celebrate the designated love day in Austin running a 1/2 marathon. He agreed to run it with me and I knew I needed to jump on it before he changed his mind. The race was great and we both crossed the finish line.
- We went to California for a week at the end of April to celebrate my sisters graduation from Pepperdine. I loved every second spent with my precious family on the west coast.
- We got back on Sunday from California and closed on our first house the very next day! My amazing in-laws came in town that weekend and we painted the entire house.
- We celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary May 18 by going to PF Chang's and working on our house all day.
- My baby sister graduated from high school and moved to the west coast. She is now a freshman at Pepperdine and just got into a sorority. Great job Callie, we love and miss you!
- One of my very best friends got married June 19, 2010. I was so honored to be a part of her special day. We got to hang out in the Woodlands for the weekend and had an unforgettable time celebrating Mr. and Mrs. Farr.
- Our precious nieces turned 4 and we got to spend the day with them. We had so much fun and were definately worn out by the end of the day. It made us realize we aren't exactly ready for kids and we will love on them like they are our own.
I also lost my camera on this trip. I learned a very valuable lesson to always download pictures to the computer right away. I had not uploaded my pictures since our California trip so I lost 2 1/2 months of pictures and there were lots of them. This would be why there are lots of activities without pictures.
- Remember the wedding January 9? Well, in July we had a gender reveal party for them because they are expecting a baby BOY! December 18 Baby Tully will bless this world.
- One of Justin's college roommates got married at Briscoe Manor (where we got married). Our house was full of boys (groomsmen and ushers) and I got to stay with the Goforth's. I didn't mind because I got to spend the weekend with some of my favorite people: Megan, Abby, and Heather.
Life has settled down since that wedding. We are now adjusted into our new home and spend our spare time doing little things around the house or enjoying our new dvr. I used to hate tv but I have learned to love it with my recorded shows. We have already been to 2 UT football games and plan to go to at least one more. To say football takes over our weekends would be an understatement, but I love it and love spending time with my amazing husband, family, and friends.
