super bowl 2011

i love the super bowl. i love everything about it. and this year i was extremely excited because:
 # 1  my sister got to experience all the craziness and fun in fort worth
 # 2 the packers were playing and i think they are so fun to watch
and # 3 and the biggest reason-- the black eyed peas were performing the half time show!

i LOVE the black eyed peas. we go way back with their very first smash hit and i remember it like it was yesterday singing very loudly and putting my hands in the air while driving with my top down in my jeep. im telling you i love them. saw them in concert last year-- by far one of the best concerts i have ever been to.

lets start with christina--- her clothes are too tight and her extensions --i have no words. yes, she might have messed up a few words but i have to give her credit.. most of the time those performances are recorded and then they lip sync it... she sang it live. way to go. maybe jerry jones should have invested in a teleprompter but i give her credit. its okay-- we all make mistakes.. hers was just in front of a hundred million people. i wonder what good ole' george w thought? :)

and then the halftime show started--- and yes i saw all the facebook comments and newspaper comments about the super bowl. if anyone knows anything about concerts in domed stadiums then you should know 3/4 the time the volume and sound is anything but perfect. and then you have that many people and in that large of a venue of course its going to sound a little off. and the singers can never hear in their earpieces so their voices are a little off... BUT... i thought they put on a wonderful performance and it was very entertaining. fergie looked amazing and rocks the hair way better than christina did.

football season is over and i am a little sad about it. what is going to consume our weekends now? happy monday!
